The Land of God,” Kinnaur is one of the 12 districts of Himachal Pradesh and a breathtaking region. It is truly a paradise for nature lovers and provides an escape from the bustling city. Relatively untouched, it is known for its marvellous views of the Zanskar Valley, the village of Chitkul, snow-clad Dhauladhar mountains and meandering rivers. Places to visit in Kinnaur include Kalpa, Sarahan, Reckong Peo, Kothi, Moorang and Nako. To enjoy pleasant weather suitable for sightseeing, travel to Kinnaur between April and October. Reckong Peo, the district’s headquarters, is known for its sprawling apple orchards that you can tour. The area is full of deodar and pine trees and overlooks the majestic Kailash Mountain and Shivling Rock.
Situated near the Indo-Tibetan road and along the Sutlej River, Sarahan is known as the “Gateway to Kinnaur” and is home to lush green terrace farms. Here you can visit apple orchards, explore deodar forests and apple orchards, sit by flowing streams. Besides its natural bounty, the hamlet is also home to the Bhimakali Temple featuring intricate woodwork, Bushahr Palace and Sarahan Bird Park.
Kinnaur tour packages also include Kalpa, the district’s main village in the Sutlej River Valley. You can visit temples and monasteries like the Narayan-Nagini Temple and Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery. About Shimla
The British Empire may have ceased to exist, but its echo lingers on in Shimla (2276 mtr). As the Summer Capital of the British in India, Shimla was the country's focus for the better part of every year and now, is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. Today, it has well developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions making it one of India's most popular hill destinations. Situated in the lower ranges of the Himalayan Mountains, it is surrounded by pine deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Towards the north lie the snow-covered high-ranges, while the valleys breathe whispering streams and swaying fields. Within the town
are hosts of splendid colonial edifices, quaint cottages and charming walks. Shimla offers a variety of shopping, sport and entertainment activities.
Day 02: Shimla – Narkanada( Kufri & Local Tour)

After breakfast, leave for Narkanda, visit Hassan Valley, Chini Bangla &Kufri very famous places between Shimla to Narkanda, where you can visit Kufri Fun World & can enjoy adventure activities like-horse riding etc, after that reach your destination Narkanda and feel mesmerized with the breath-taking views of snow covered Mountains. Have dinner & overnight stay. Evening,drive back to the hotel. Have dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 03: Narkanda – Sangla (153.2 km 4-5 hrs)

After breakfast check-out from the hotel, go for local sight-seeing which includes, Tani Jubbar lake, Hatu Peak, Hatu Temple etc. After that proceed for Sangla (153.2 km 4-5 hours journey) journey. Enroute, visiting places like -Satluj river, Taranda Dhaankh, Taranda Temple, Karcham Dam. On reaching Sangla, you can enjoy the cold desert mountain view covered with snow and experience the beautiful Baspa river tributaries. Later, arrival & check-in to the hotel till evening. Have dinner & overnight stay.
About Sangla
You shall meet the Sutlej River. With the Baspa River magically weaving itself through the forested slopes, this exquisite 95 kilometer stretch of the Sangla Valley is a sight to behold. Known predominantly for its agriculture, every house in Sangla will have cultivations of Apples, Pears, Walnuts, Apricots or Potatoes. Sangla is one of the most beautiful valleys in India. DAY 04: – Sangla & Chitkul Sight Seeing (153.2 km 4-5 hrs)

Have a nice breakfast with a view of the mountains. You shall meet the Sutlej River and from
there on it will be with you till Spiti. With the Baspa River magically weaving itself through

Trekking Baspa Valley, on the banks of the Baspa River, while viewing some of the most beautiful scenes and waterfalls. Visit Rani Bhaag where you'll be able to see the last Indian Army base Camp(Nagasti post, First line of Defence).Enjoy some good food and sunshine…. Drive to Sangla valley to visit Kamru Fort and other Sangla Meadows and sightseeing. Chitkul can be described as one of the most scenic settlements in the valley and the last inhabited village before the India-China border. This short drive from Sangla to
Chitkul will be one of the most scenic drives you’ll take with plenty of opportunities to take
stunning photographs. Walk around the Baspa River and pay tributes to the Mathi Goddess
at the temple in the village.

DAY 05: Sangla - Shimla (348.7 Km (5-6 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast check out from the Hotel and enjoy your drive amidst the Himalayas
back to Narkanda, Shimla. After Checking in the hotel, take a rest and enjoy the visit to
the famous Mall Road and explore the local Market, temples, The Ridge, The Church and Shop
From the local markets and can visit famous cafes and breweries for good food and drinks.
